Weekly Update: September 28th


10/07 PA Meeting at 9:00 a.m.

Please join us at our monthly PA meeting and get to know your PA board members, as well as hear about some of the plans we have in store for the year. This meeting will be held in the conference room across from Naiby’s desk in the main commons. We will discuss fundraisers, Fall Festival and an evening meeting time for the month of November for parents who are not available in the morning. Everyone is welcome!


Fall Festival Committee needs your help!

Fall Fest is coming up fast! Your child should have brought home an order form. If you haven’t seen it, please ask your child or use the form attached below. Look for an email next week for volunteer opportunities and SignUp Genius.

You can also help by sponsoring an item:

Welcome HTMMA Families to Fall 2015!

September 2015

On behalf of the HTMMA Parent Association, welcome to High Tech Middle Media Arts!

The mission of the HTMMA Parent Association is to support the school and staff through fundraising and community building events, and to help provide enrichment for students.
Throughout the year we plan events for the students and their families, including the HTMMA Fall Festival (carnival style games, food, music and more. This year our HTMMA Fall Festival is October 16 from 4-7:00pm. Plans for this and other exciting events are underway and we are looking for volunteer support. There are a number of other opportunities, both big and small time commitments. We encourage all families to jump in and get involved at whatever level they are comfortable with - it is a great way to support your child’s education, meet other families and create lasting friendships. From planning fundraisers to coordinating teacher appreciation lunches to assisting with exhibitions, and being strong advocates, parent volunteers make a significant positive impact on HTMMA.
Each week of the school year you will receive our weekly electronic newsletter, “HTMMA News”. We encourage you to watch for it each Monday, and take the time to review the email newsletter, as it contains important information about our school and HTH Village events, classroom happenings, reminders about days off, student led conferences, exhibitions and more. 

Lots of information is also available on the school website and calendar
The Parent Association has monthly meetings, the first Wednesday of each month. Currently the time of those meetings is 9:00am but we are open to having evening meetings as well. Please contact with suggested meeting times. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings. We value your opinions and suggestions, and look forward to exchanging ideas for our common goal!

Aug. 31 HTMMA Weekly Update

What you need to know for this week: Aug. 31

Lunch Forms Due...Very Important!
Please remember that all school lunch forms and payments for the 1st semester are due ASAP! Please complete this application even if you have completed it for any other school in the village (with the exception of Explorer), because you are still required to submit an original application with Naiby at the front desk for your HTMMA student. If you have any questions, contact Naiby at, or stop by her desk.  

9/02 9:00 am PA Meeting

09/10 Open House at HTMMA...and Taco Dinner!
Please join us at this year’s Open House, where you will have the opportunity to visit your child’s classrooms! It will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Prior to the Open House, there will be taco and drinks for sale at the bottom of the stairs, so plan to have dinner on campus!
