Save the Date! Pieology Fundraiser
Our PA will be holding a restaurant fundraiser on December 1, 2015, from 3:30-9:30 pm. This is at the Sports Arena location only (across the parking lot from Target), and you must show the flyer (printed out ONLY - cell phone images NOT accepted) for our school to receive credit. The more flyers, the more money back we get! Flyer will be attached in a later email.

Holiday Bake Sale...Yummy treats for a great cause!
Mark your calendars! December 14th at 3:30 pm is our first annual HTMMA/HTHMA Holiday Bake Sale. More info coming soon, but know that we will be asking for home baked goodies :)

Perk Up! We have a Coffee Cart!  ...and starting 11/10/15 we will sell hot cocoa also! :)
The HTMMA coffee cart will be open Tuesday mornings from 8:00am-9:15am. Please stop by at the bottom of the stairs and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and support our school at the same time. Let’s put our money back into our own school one day a week! If you want to send your student with your money and order, we will deliver it to you curbside :) (We do NOT sell coffee to middle school students, but hot cocoa will be available starting Nov. 10!)

FREE Money for HTMMA!
Here are THREE super easy ways to donate money to the school without spending an extra cent:

Amazed with Amazon? :)
Help our school by using our very own link!! Please our Amazon link here on the front page. Remember to make sure your cart starts out empty, as things waiting in your cart before you use the portal will cause the entire order not to count.

ESCRIP:  If you haven’t signed up for EScrip yet or need to renew, the EScrip button is right under the Amazon link here on our website.  Sign-up is very easy.  A percentage of all of your cash or debit purchases at Von’s, Fresh & Easy and other EScrip retailers will then be given back to the school (please note that credit card purchases are no longer honored to raise funds through EScrip). Also, you may need to designate HTMMA as your school of choice if you have not already done so.

Box Tops….Let’s Rack Them Up!
While doing your shopping, we ask that you collect and turn in your Box Tops in the jar at Naiby’s desk. This is FREE money to our school...we can’t afford NOT to collect those Box Tops! :) Keep ‘em coming! You can find out which products and websites offer Box Tops at:

We are holding the next PA meeting this Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. for parents who cannot attend the usual morning meetings. These meetings typically run about an hour, and are held in the conference room to the right of the main commons. Hope to see you there!

Panera Fundraiser...don’t cook dinner this Thursday!

Please feel free to share the attached flyer on social media, or with friends and family! :)

Panera requires redemption of at least 20 flyers to guarantee a donation. The donation given will be based on the amount of sales associated with the flyers. They use a tiered donation scale:
  • 20-30 Flyers: 10% of net sales from redeemed flyers
  • 31-49 flyers: 15% of net sales from redeemed flyers
  • 50+ Flyers: 20% of net sales from redeemed flyers
8th grade families: Eat at Panera after school, then head over to 8th grade Exhibition “Nothing to Fear” at La Bodega Gallery & Studios, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. :)

"Start your morning with Steve"
Join our director, Steve Elizondo, this Friday, November 6 at 9AM in the HTMMA Conference Room. This session will focus on READING. Specifically, an addition to our reading program called Reading Plus, as well as how to help your child to continue progressing with his/her reading. And, as always, we will have time for Q’s and A’s, and lively conversation about whatever is on your mind.
